Opti-MINDS Challenge

Last weekend 10 students from Year 9 competed in the annual Opti-MINDS event – an academic and dramatic challenge that forces students to consider a hypothetical question and to create a response. This year, the teams responded to the question: “What would a world without labels look like?”

They travelled to Marsden SHS and competed against 20 other teams in their division. While they did not make it to the State Finals, both teams received commendations on the creativity of their responses and their fantastic team work that was evidence in their polished performances.

The Flagstone Opti-MINDS teams should be immensely proud of their achievements, especially considering that it is only the third time the school has competed in this competition. We congratulate Nina, Jack, Chenoa, Stephanie, Ashleigh, Emily, Shai, Anika, Amy, and Kayleigh on their dedication and fantastic effort!
