Principal’s welcome

Flagstone State Community College is a young school providing innovative teaching and learning, within state of the art learning spaces, to provide exceptional learning outcomes for all students.  With approximately 900 students, 75 teaching staff and 40 support staff, our community works to drive a high expectations culture to ensure a safe, respectful, tolerant and inclusive learning environment that promotes intellectual rigour.

Our purpose: Success!! Every Student… Every Day!!

Situated in one of South East Queensland’s fastest growing corridors, FSCC serves to inspire the minds of our students, our future innovators, to both attain exceptional outcomes and to become effective leaders and contributing members of our larger community.  High standards and expectations for each student in regard to participation and academic improvement over time are underpinned by our values, and contribute to each child’s success.

Quality Teaching and Learning in Every Classroom

Teachers use research based teaching practices in all classrooms to ensure that every student is engaged, challenged and learning daily.  Teachers play an integral part in student development, and our teachers create opportunities for intellectual risk-taking, collaboration and application of classroom learning in real life situations. Our school places high priority on building and maintaining positive and caring relationships between staff, students and parents – we are all partners in our students’ learning and wellbeing.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our community.  A community that aspires to create a passion for learning in its students, and also cares about the whole child and their personal development.

Inspirational Teaching...Inspired Learning
